Strengths: sleek looks, many features, easy controls, large cooking area, internal shelf for two-item cooking.
Weaknesses: noisy exhaust fan, can be difficult to install.
Summary: This is a very nice product. It has a large cooking area so most of your containers will have no problems fitting. Also, as well as the turntable, it also has a removable internal metal wire shelf which allows you to cook two items at once (obviously the top wire shelf doesn't turn).
It looks very nice, and is easy to use. The electronic controls are pre-programmed with tens of pre-sets for breakfast, lunch, and dinner items to reduce guesswork. Also, it has two light bulbs on the bottom. When you press Night Light, only one comes on. {ressing Work Light turns on both. Also has an easy 1-minute increment quick activation button.
I like this product. However, if you use the exhaust fan a lot, be warned, this unit has a LOUD fan even in low speed. My set up doesn't have an outdoor vent, so i wont be using it much, so no big deal...but those who do might find it annoying.
Also, installing it was somewhat of a pain...the wall-mount arms have to be lined up just right in order for the bolts in the front to screw into them. There doesn't seem to be some sort of internal guides to automatically guide the arms into the right place...I had to put it into position and then pull it out 3 times before i finally got the threaded holes in the arms to line up with the bolts on the 4th attempt...the trick turns out to be to make sure the arms are square (90 degrees) to the wall, both horizontally as well as vertically. Even slight variances will cause the holes not to line up with the bolts.
While not too heavy and not too hard to lift for one person (I picked it up from the store and unpacked it at home by myself), it was necessary to get someone to help me lift up into the installation position just because of its bulkiness. While you might be able to set it up yourself, a second person is highly recommended when it comes to lifting / pushing it into final position.
The wall and cabinet templates that came with it made it very easy to figure out where to drill mounting holes. Otherwise measuring distances would have been a pain.
You can have it professionally installed. However, where i bought it from wanted $99 to do it!!! That's just too much, especially when compared as a percentage of the price tag of the oven itself!!! I figured i would give it a shot myself...it went pretty well for my first OTR Microwave installation, thank God :) But you will need some tools, so make sure you have them (drill and bits, stud detector (or can drill small exploratory holes or use a hammer to listen for studs), screw driver, pliers, scissors (to cut paper templates), 2-inch hole-saw drill attachment (to drill hole for power cable through the cabinet, if you dont already have a hole already), and towel (to wipe off your sweat :) )
