Strengths: Awesome picture – bright, vibrant colors & sharp. Good looking plasma. Built in DVR. 2 HDMI inputs. Worked unbelievable straight out of the box.
Weaknesses: I’ve had it for several weeks and haven’t found any.
Summary: Wow. The picture on this TV is stunning. Upgraded from a Sony 51” rear-projection in a very sunny room. This TV is very bright with some reflection which I expected of plasma. Mounted it with a “Peerless” wall mount that tilts to help with glare. Also purchased the LG 42” LB4D LCD but the plasma’s picture is better.
This is a very attractive plasma TV. In a lot of pictures on-line you see a silver stripe going across the bottom. It’s not as profound in real life. It’s actually not silver but a dark gray and it blends in with the black bezel and you don’t even notice it.
