Strengths: Easy to install. Works perfectly, right out of the box. Features are extensive - Navigation is easy, transition from radio to GPS simple, and sound quality is excellent for both the radio and GPS
Weaknesses: Text to speech not available for hearing the street and highway names. Bluetooth tested only on cell phones selected by Eclipse. Not a whole lot of tested phones. MAY work on other phones, though.
Summary: Despite the two limitations above, the unit is solid, works well, delivers as advertised. Eclipse customer service is very good - they agreed that it should be Bluetooth compatible, even if not all features of your phone are supported - but at least you should be able to make and receive calls from ANY Bluetooth phone.

Screen is small, but has excellent resolution.

Being an in-car and portable GPS is a BIG plus.

CDs play perfectly.

Would recommend to anyone wanting the unique flexibilities and features in this product.

Strengths: 1. Detachable TomTom Navigation system 2. Great iPod integration 3. Embedded Bluetooth 4. solid build-quality
Weaknesses: 1. no video function
Summary: If you only need an in-dash navigation and audio system, this is the perfect one. Tomtom navigation system is top-notch and very easy to use.

For audio, it has great iPod integration system. Super fast. Less than 15 seconds. You even have a menu system to select album, playlist, genre, and etc. Sound quality is typical Eclipse.

I was able to pair my Samsung A900 easily through Bluetooth. Unfortunately, the phone book can not be transferred.

The only drawback is no video playback function. Well, the screen is only 3.5".

3 Star ReviewOkay for the money
Strengths: Price, Sound Quality and built in Tom Tom
Weaknesses: Looks and does not come with travel kit for the Tom tom
Summary: Okay, this is what you get for buying this unit. You can a car radio along a removable Tom Tom. Tom Tom is quite famous for a lot of people. They work well and so does this. The sound quality is great. You can play mp3s like most today. One thing I don't understand is why do you have shell out more money for the travel kit. People buy this so they can take the Tom Tom with them sometimes. Overall the price for this has drop and for the price now it's a good buy.
