Strengths: Easy setup; fast printing; initial (cold) start up not too bad (but does take a minute or two); nice scanning; clear, crisp copies/prints; color copies/prints are decent. Good faxing capability.
Weaknesses: Is heavy (make sure you have a sturdy table and help to lift the machine); toner and other items (e.g., drum) are not cheap. Small paper tray.
Summary: Overall, this is a decent machine, especially for the price. You could easily pay double the amount for other machines that pretty much do the same tasks and have the same quality. Machine comes with standard toner; make sure you purchase the high-yield toner when those run out. If you're going to use this machine for a lot of copying/printing, then you'll likely spend a lot of money for replacements (e.g., toner, drum, etc.). If you just use the machine for basic home use and a very small business, then it should work out well for you. For my purposes, things work out quite nicely.
