Strengths: All in one package: mp3 player, USB dock, earbuds, accessories, software, etc.
Weaknesses: Be advised: Software can connect you to Barbie website and chat room. Other than the not-so-modest outfits and your daughter ignoring you, I didn't really see any weanesses in the product itself.
Summary: This product combines good design, quality, fun, and function. The device's sleek design is stylish and features interchangeable doll faces, outfits, hair, shoes and accessories (some sold separately) making it fun and also comes in cool colors. It has a retractable USB plug and docking station that connects to your computer. The software is also included on a cd. The 1GB device can store up to 240 mp3 files and has a miniSD slot cleverly hidden on the side. An attachable clip makes the device wearable. I thought it was packaged well and you can even use the box as storage or for a shelf. Overall, this is unique find and would be the perfect hip gift for young girls 8-11 yrs. old.
