Strengths: LCD panel to track disk operations and status Aluminum casing
Weaknesses: Plastic handle on caddy
Summary: After searching for a SATA hard drive enclosure, I settled on this one given Vantec's reputation. For the most part I am totally happy with this unit. My only gripe is with the plastic handle used to release the drive caddy. I get the feeling that eventually it will totally break off. I guess I just need to be careful with it. Other than that I think the unit is about the best you are going to find unless you want to pay 3x price for something else.
