Strengths: Fiber to the laptop!

Summary: The PCMCIA connector requires that you allocate at least 4 inches to the side of your laptop because of the fiber.

Also the height of the segment that is outside of the PCMCIA slot can be pushed slightly out by the laptop lid when you close it. I do really like the capability of fiber to the laptop, I just wish that the interface plugged in at a 90 degree anglre instead of straight out at 180 degrees.
