Strengths: very sharp picture and many features
Weaknesses: German version has no progressive scan (f.ck!)
Summary: I love my DV-444, because it looks cool & very slim :-) I can watch razor sharp DVDs, listen my huge MP3 collection and my girlfriend likes the design.

Unfortunately in Germany the DV-444 have no Component-out and no progressive scan- and we have to pay approx. 350 US-Dollar !!!!!

But, this player is a bargain (for $199 in USA)-Buy it!!
