Strengths: Fast Data transfer. Portability. Functional.
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: Turns any economical hard drive into a data storage / Backup solution. I used a 250GB internal EIDE Hard Drive I got at deep discount and turned it into a nicely functional external drive with this product. I highly recommend it.

Strengths: Looks pretty, easy handle. have the very nice accessaries including the long enough USB cable.
Weaknesses: any instruction on maintenance
Summary: It looks very pretty and the stand design for saving room.

The detailed instruction on the product let me handle it very easily. and also it includs the software for installation and setup. the usb cable is long enough for convienence. the compact chip design make the installation very easy and simple. I need some instructions on maintenance such as how to dispath it.

Strengths: Looks good.
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: The USB driver is not compatible with WIN2K/WINXP. Documentation of this product needs a lot of improvement. Also, the product simply does not work if you put in an unformatted disk and expect to format it later.

Strengths: An excellent way to turn old interal hard drives into an external storage device.
Weaknesses: The transfer rate of the setup is really slow. 480 bps
Summary: This device is a great way to turn internal hard drives into a external storage device. If you don't mind the long wait to transfer files it will be a great substitute for a true external hard drive. So far I have swapped 3 hard drives out with not much trouble. I just hope the cables can withstand the constant detachments and reattachments to the hard drives.
