Description: The Multi-Function Center 9700 gives you all the basic office functions in one package. It integrates a plain-paper fax, printer, copier, PC fax and scanner all together for the ultimate in convenience and cost-effectiveness.The fax uses a 14.4Kbps modem and 8MB of memory that stores up to 600 pages for broadcasting, out-of-paper reception, error correction code, Dual Access or Super Quick-Scan. A 50-page document feeder frees you from spending your day at the input tray, and you can load up to 250 letter- or legal-sized sheets with an optional feeder. The front panel gives you easy access to the unit's functions, like 108-station auto-dialing, 158-location broadcasting, telephone index, fax forwarding, paging, remote retrieval and more. The fax is Caller ID and distinctive ring detection ready. You can also fax directly from your PC (not available for Macintosh), preview incoming faxes to delete junk faxes and send custom electronic coverpages.The laser printer produces true 600 x 600 dpi printouts. You can choose parallel or USB connectivity (parallel cable included). The flatbed scanner can interpolate images at up to 9600 x 9600 dpi and is TWAIN compliant.
