Strengths: Easy to use. Lots of features. Plays all the various types of Audio CD's. Ceramic cone speakers as opposed to paper.

Summary: After listening to several other systems in this price range, I chose the JVC simply because it sounded so much better than the others. It was louder and cleaner sounding and since I was putting the system into a Great Room with vaulted ceilings, I needed something that could generate a lot of sound. This one definitely does that. It has ceramic cone speakers rather than paper so it can take alot more abuse. I also liked the fact that the DVD player and receiver were separate units. This way I can change out one or the other as my needs change. I don't understand why this system is not more popular. I would definitely recommend it.
