Summary: 2006-11-24 21:48:17 This NI-C76SR Iron replaced my old black & decker which gave up after 5 yrs. Coming back to this product what interested me was it was from Panasonic and was heavier than my old iron 2.5 versus the 3 pounds for the panasonic, just about right for my daily routine.
It's got a 3 way auto shut off function which means it turns off in 60 seconds if it is not moved with the soleplate or on its side.Turns off in 10 minutes if iron is not moved
It reduces scale buildup in the vaporizing chamber of the iron & water tank
No more cord tangles brcause it has cord winder after you finish ironing your clothes
