Strengths: Great sound projection. Very bassy for 40 watts. Sounds more like 100 watts. Mountable on walls; Works great with Soundblaster Live! or higher. 2nd sound jack is handy TOTALLY AWESOME
Weaknesses: Blue Super-Bright Led is REALLY bright. Why Logitech would do this is beyond me.
Summary: Totally awesome speakers. Subwoofer has bass volume control which allows you to mechanically control bass output. Wall brackets made to only support 180 degree placements, although when screw is removed brackets are able to move 360 degrees in any direction. This is handy for mounting on roof. Rear speakers come with a VERY lengthy cable, my guess is about 12 feet or so (jacks similar to RCA connectors). M3D feature is quite handy with these speakers; give very full 3d'ish sound although it lacks compared to other manufacturers models. These speakers allow you to pick out all those little things wrong with all of your MP3's, so beware of that lol. Overall, in their price range (under 100 bucks) totally awesome deal when compared to Z560's which are upwards of 300 CAN Dollars. Give em a try, u wont be sorry. Happy Pumpin'

Strengths: 4 point model of the best bang for your buck speakers
Weaknesses: still with that stupid blue LED...
Summary: These things kick a$$ for their price. of the time you are on your computer, you dont have your speakers cranked anyways, so its not like most people would benifit from a bigger set of speakers. if I hadnt fallen in love with my 560's, i would still be toting a pair of these babys

Strengths: Great price, easy to configure, can be mounted, A/V (RCA) connection.
Weaknesses: Left front speaker cord is limited due to connection to subwoofer
Summary: I bought these probably longer than 7 months ago and I have used them for a long time. The produce a very powerful sound and fill my room that I have them in. Very clear with very little noise (check specs). Subwoofer produces very good bass. I really like the A/V connection because I extended the connection to mount on my walls. The base swivels to allow for direct connection to the wall too.

I would most certainly recommend these speakers to anyone looking for a great deal on great speakers, but without buying digital. Or if you want to shell a few extra dollars the Z-640 will add a center speaker.

Strengths: 40 watts RMS (Root Mean Signal) Not the highest rating, but the fact that it's RMS really makes a difference. For gaming and MP3 playback, these things kick. The M3D button, add amazing surround.
Weaknesses: The clarity of the satellites (5 Watts RMS each), they play very well, unless you really turn them up (to lets say 90% of max)
Summary: 2002-03-29 23:32:46 I knew a friend who had a set of the Logitech Z-340's and those things kicked out major sound (especially bass :o) ). I decided to go witht the 540's because of their price advantage over the 560's and other speakers. I would consider the Logitch Z, line of speakers as a class of their own, because they are very resonably priced, and deliver room Thumbing bass + sound. For optimal performance, I would recommend at least a Sound Blaster Live! card. I am very happy with these things, and would highly advice investing in a set.

Strengths: Good lows, mids, and highs. Very nice design and very tight sounding system. Great price.
Weaknesses: Only 40 watts, but for what it puts out it's loud.
Summary: I'm very happy with these and would recommend them to anybody looking for a quality 4.1 system under $100. They are by far the best 4.1 system in their price range. With that said i want to buy the Z-560 set this month. hehe

Strengths: Rich, full highs and lows, reasonably priced, great surround sound.
Weaknesses: Low powered subwoofer, won't rock the house.
Summary: Probably the best surround sound speaker system for the money. Must be heard to fully appreciate. If you're looking for a good speaker system that won't break the bank, check this one out.
