Strengths: Does exactly what it says. Can be depended on for RESTORES!
Weaknesses: EXPENSIVE. Always says "backup failed" if you don't purchase add-on products.
Summary: I have NEVER had a problem with this product. While beginners could easily use this product with the 'Wizards', to make the best use of it, you would probably want to read the documentation... which is really designed for more advanced users.

The biggest complaint I have is the price. You would think... for the hundreds and hundreds of dollars you pay for this, it would INCLUDE Open-File backups and System State backups of peer-to-peer computers. But... Veritas wants you to pay several more hundred dollars to completely protect your small business network.

The other complaint that I have is that if you DON't buy the optional products, your backup report will always say "Failed", indicating that your systems are not completely protected because of skipped files and uncopied system states.

Other than that... we have successfully restored files several times. It compresses data well, and runs fairly fast.
