Creative 6PC INSPIRE 5.1 5300 Speakers SRS w/ AC Adapt Stand Subwoofer

i don't know if its the speakers or my sound card ...

Strengths: very loud, will rock the house for sure, clips after about 70%

Weaknesses: my center channel doesn't WORK!!!

Summary: i don't know if its the speakers or my sound card but the center channel doesn't work, no sound at all, i have a creative SB Live 5.1 card, i'm not sure waht to do, so i'm returning these speakers ASAP.

I was very VERY disapointed with this set of speak ...

Strengths: Price

Weaknesses: Everything BUT the price

Summary: I was very VERY disapointed with this set of speakers. The sub is WAY to under powered. The satalights are ok, but they just arn't worth the money to tell you the truth. You would probably be better going out and finding a different set of surround sound. I could only stand to listen to them for about... week. Want mine? Ill ship them to yah!

Strengths: Low price, amount of sound, great for dvds, ok bass

Weaknesses: Horrible at high levles

Summary: The games like quake3 souned nice, giving me the advantage when I played Counter-strike. These even worked well while I was watching Pearl Harbor, even the bombs sounded realistic, but when turned passed 1/3 full volume, the sound suffered, you get that anoying hiss sound.

I was a little impressed about how clean the Inspi ...

Strengths: Good audio reproduction, satellites sound clear.

Weaknesses: Becomes distorted at high volumes, especially the subwoofer is a little underpowered.

Summary: I was a little impressed about how clean the Inspire 5.1 speakers can produce sound. You can hear the definition of sound just from 8-10 feet. The subwoofer is very well impressive, I remember listening to songs, my picture frames would shake a little bit. These speakers should do pretty good in DVD movies but dont expect those huge explosions to come out of the Inspire 5.1 speakers, they just don't have the power to produce them. Other then that, Inspire 5.1 speakers are good in overall sound but it won't make it to higher volumes.

I really enjoy this system. The surround sound is ...

Strengths: Great sound. Subwoofer is underpowered, but it is Plenty to rock your house.

Weaknesses: Subwoofer is underpowered.

Summary: I really enjoy this system. The surround sound is great for Games (FS200). It is also good for the usual music. The volume control is great. I used the sticky pads that came with it and placed it on the side of my monitor. I really enjoy this system. 11 out of 10.
