The sound is excellent and I highly recommend this product if you want to set it up in a small to medium sized room. Cons: Small speakers (only suitable for small to mid-sized rooms), No headphone jack, auto-calibration is nice to have, but not too accurate, and their is no support for Dolby True-HD so this receiver won't produce audio for blu-ray movies at it's full potential. Overall, setup was a breeze(unlike other HTIB's, the Sony HT-SS2000 has special connectors on the speaker wire that you just snap on to the back of the receiver. Problem is that with these you probably can't get a replacement right away if something were to go wrong with the wire 100% of People (2/2) found this review helpful. The 3 HDMI inputs are a huge plus and are something you dont normally see from this level of unit. Even though there is no DVD player, its great that this can serve as your dedicated A/V receiver.
