Strengths: Great picture, loaded with features, better value than the Sony WEGA, 14" instead of 13" screen
Weaknesses: sound is stereo and good quality, but could use a little more bass for my taste.
Summary: I bought this TV for a bedroom location. It's compact, but has a great picture and is a little larger than most TV's in this size class at 14" diagonally measured, instead of the normal 13". The picture is flat and clean, with great color, clarity and sharpness. All the controls you need are located in the front, including front AV jacks. Rear AV jacks are present too. Speakers are front firing, with good sound for a small TV, although I'd like to see a little more bass. The case is silver plastic and tastefully "high tech" looking. A good quality universal remote is included.
I chose this TV over a Sony WEGA 13" because it had a slightly larger picture, better sound, a more attractive package, and was a much better value than the Sony. I would recommend it highly to someone who is looking for a small TV with a superior picture and high end features. $199 appears to be the best value web site price. However, I bought this at Best Buy, who had this TV for $199 when I bought it, although I've seen the price fluctuate there up to $219.
