Strengths: a timed charger, very small, universal voltage, cheap
Weaknesses: none
Summary: I bought it from Amazon with a cheap price. It can turn off when the batteries are fully charged. This is very useful for me. I don't need to take care of it when charging. Also the worldwide voltage feature is very good. I am an international student and like to travel around the world, so I benefit from this special feature.

Strengths: Best price I have found for an international voltage charger.I like the safety timer cut off to prevent me from over charging my batteries. I like having the option of charging any number of batteries
Weaknesses: none I have found so far.
Summary: It was great to find a charger with international voltage. For trips out of the US who wants have to take a bulky voltage converter along just to charge your batteries for your camera, ect..

Strengths: Universal voltage settings, compact
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: I have been using another charger till now, but i was always in a doubt of using it in India, thus, bought this one. And i bet, i was not disappointed. Its small, handy, travel compatible, more stable interms of service. It has a timer that goes off once the batteries are fully loaded. This takes 8 hrs to charge 4x2100mAh batteries whereas the other one i had takes more than 12 hrs. Just buy it, its a very good deal for such less. You will love it.

Strengths: Unlike the Panasonic BQ-390 which I also used and reviewed, this Sony uses a timer to stop charging.
Weaknesses: the first time I charged them, I kept waiting for the indicator to go off and I realized after 18 hrs that they are not going to go off.
Summary: The manual recommends charging after a full discharge, so it may overcharge your partially depleted cell or an older cell with lower capacity. As long as you recharge a fully empty, ~2100mAh cell, it shall be fine.

Strengths: Usual Sony quality.Ability to charge 4 AA or AAA batteries. No cords or cables wall mounting plug. Small size good for travelling.Comes with 4 2100mAh batteries. For $15 this is as good as it gets.
Weaknesses: There really isn't much. Only thing to consider this is not a rapid or power charger. i will take at least 6 hours to fully charge them. So i recommend buying an another set of 4 batteries.
Summary: If you have a digital camera that eats 4 AA batteries every 2 weeks like me.This is a must buy.Not only it will save you money, These batteries have a longer life than alkaline ones.

Strengths: * Indicator to show if the batteries are completely charged * Performance as specified in the manual * Best for travel across (Works in India too!!!)
Weaknesses: * It may overcharge partially depleted cell (as recommended in the manual to charge a fully discharged battery)
Summary: I have chargers from 2 other companies: Powerizer and Energizer which both burnt down when I used them to charge in India (inspite of the manual mentioning that they are for travel and support dual voltage) I sent this Sony charger to my parents and they use it to charge the batteries for the mp3 player and hte digital camera without any problem. So I got one for myself too now!

Sony takes much less time (still though 7hrs) to recharge. But if you leave them to charge overnite it shud be fine.

The best bargain I have got for this price and am very happy!!!!

Strengths: The charger works very well and the batteries seem to be long lasting. The price was also attractive.
Weaknesses: It takes 7 hours to charge the batteries but that has been no problem for me because my camera only uses two batteries and this set contains four.
Summary: I have charged the batteries a few times so far and everything works well. I am pleased with the batteries and the charger, and would recommend this set highly. The charger is very compact and easily carried. This purchase has proved a good solution to the power needs of my camera.

Strengths: This kit is exactly what I needed to keep my wife from throwing her camera in the junk drawer for good. It's very useful easy to carry , works with both 110 and 220 volts, very practical!
Weaknesses: smells like the flux is leaking
Summary: First charge took all night. Subsequent charges took approx 6 hours. Batteries last long in digital camera. So very practical when travelling internationally as I do ! It can charge both AA & AAA so takes care of my MP3, digital camera, etc. on the run.

Strengths: portable size, decent production, quality batteries
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: I bought this batteries for my digital camera, have not changed the battery after 100 more shots. The portable size is the best thing for this charger, as well as the relative high capacity batteries. I did have trouble for the first charge due to "improper" installation of batteries, although I think I did it all right. When I reinstall the batteries, everything went OK. It took 6 hrs to charge as indicated. Would recommend!
