Strengths: Small size and weight.
Weaknesses: Not fast enough. Cheaper stuff may be available.
Summary: It is a pretty decent charger for its price. (Plus Sony, if you care about that.) But you might get something more cheaper. Especially if you just want a charger that works overseas and already have a set of Ni-MH batteries on you.
Walmart carries many more chargers that are of the same price or lower price and no shipping charges invloved. Specifications for some of them like Rayovac and Energizer say that they can take input from 120-240 V 50/60 Hz AC. These include the 15 minute fast chargers too. But they don't advertize this. So you may wan't to be pretty sure before you plug one of those into a foreign socket based on that.
I would not call this one a fast charger as such. Takes about 4-5 hours to charge a set of 4 AA batteries ! Comes with 2300 mah Ni-MH batteries not 2700. Nothing state of the art even here too.
Also, note that you still need to buy the right socket adapter for the country where you are planning to use this.
My recommendation is to look for something in-store first and do some research.

Strengths: Compact, takes 100-240V AC, folding plug, auto cut-off
Weaknesses: Charges 2 AAA batteries at a time, no international adaptors, not so fast charging
Summary: This charger is value for money considering the brand, and has quite a few features.
It can charge 4 AA or 2 AAA. I heard that you can mix the batteries, i.e. charge 2 AAA and 2 AA. It takes around 4 hours with 4 batteries, half that time with 2 batteries. So it's not exactly the "quick" charger as advertised. It shuts off automatically when the batteries are fully charged.
It also takes 100-240V AC and makes it useful for travelling, but it doesn't come with the international adaptors (buy your own!)
Overall a good buy, but you might want to compare it with the features of other cheaper models.

Strengths: Fast Charge, nice compact size
Weaknesses: None that I can find yet
Summary: The batteries charge quickly and hold the charge well for my digital camera. Lasted much longer than I expected. The thing I liked most is the nice flip-out plug on the charger, making it more compact to carry in my camera bag. No cords to worry about losing or taking up space. I bought an extra set of batteries so I always have spares charged and ready to go! I am very impressed with this product.

Strengths: charging indicator goes off when charge is full;
charging is very fast at about 4 hours 40 minutes;
light-weight charger with sony high capacity at 2300mAh;
support international voltage 100-240V
Weaknesses: can only charge 2 aaa battery at a time; does not clearly mention if it can charge 2 AAA + 2 AA at the same time. i wouldn't risk it.
Summary: This is a nice charger with quality guaranteed by brand like Sony. It is light-weight and stylish, coming with 4 high capacity AA batteries.
Other than the strengths listed above, this Sony charger can actually charge other brand batteries. I had 4 2200mAh Sunpak rechargeable AA battery. They were fully charged within the similar time - less than 5 hours.

Strengths: Charged within the time listed on the instruction sheets.
Weaknesses: Only Charge 2 AAA at a time.
Summary: Its a nice good charger, Used to charge 2 SONY 900mAH AAA batteries. the charge was good but the batteries work fine with my MP3 player; they don't work in another unit requiring AAA; however, when I put some regular AAA in that unit it worked so I don't know may be the batteries or what? Haven't really checked AA's yet but so far so good with regard to the charger.

Strengths: sony brand, good price, portable
Weaknesses: very hot on the surface when charging, power plug not stable
Summary: In all, this is a good charger especially it is a Sony brand. It is not expensive, less than $20 which I paid. It is small, slick.
But, it is real hot on the surface when you charge the batteries, is that due to the cover? I am not sure. The power plug is foldable, in other word, it is not stable when you plug into the wall outlet.

Strengths: Compact and yet so powerful
Weaknesses: Requires socket for international usage,
Summary: Great product. I use the batteries mostly in a digital camera. The over the counter batteries were dying at rate almost unaffordable to me, so I thought I would try these. Wonderful. I do reccommend that when you do buy, buy the top rated(most powerful) batteries specially when Sony has come up with such a product. They tend to last much ,much, much longer....and then you can recharge them have already save the cost of the total unit and shipping at least three times over.
As a amateur user, i tend to use it a lot and i know the deal is worth it. One can search for the price variations on different sites but i guess a good deal can be around $21-$24.
Its a good deal for your money..

Strengths: Compact size, good AA batteries included, 100-240V charging, foldable plug
Weaknesses: International adapter plugs not included, cover pops off easy
Summary: Quite a nice little compact battery charger. Bought it before I went to Europe since it supports the higher voltage over there. AA cells included last a long time in my Canon A70 digital camera, and charging time is very reasonable (2-3 hours in most cases; faster chargers seem to me as overkill.) Most of the time I only need to charge 4 batteries so the small capacity doesn't bother me. I have no problem charging other brands of NiMH batteries. When the light on the charger goes off, I then simply know the batteries are complete (this feature generally signifies that a charger is "smart" and doesn't overcharge the cells.) Overall, a good value for domestic and international use. If never plan on needing dual voltages, you can go cheaper, but you never know that next time you might be heading overseas and only 240V is available...

Strengths: compact, auto cut-off when charging is done, worldwide voltage
Weaknesses: Can charge only 2AA batteries at a time
Summary: Firstly, don't expect this charger to be a super-fast 30 min charger. It need around 4hrs.It has a sleek look to it, for whom it matters :)
Its a sony brand and I feel it has lived upto its brand expectation.Plus you get 4 2300mA batteries which are decent for digicam use and other purposes.

Strengths: Compact, easy to use, world-wide compatibility
Weaknesses: Requires power soket adopter for internaltional travel
Summary: The product is fairly compact and pleasing for travel. Liked the support for 110V and 240v. It does require external electrical socket adopter (separately purchased.) Able to charge 4 batteries in about 4 hours. Reasonably priced. Did not find batteries heated after recharge.
