Strengths: Buffer plays out durring disc changing. Opical TosLink® output for linking with higher-end car audio, (or to a portable MD recorder using an optical splitter to run an optical cable to dashboard!)
Weaknesses: Buffer should buff MDs seamlessly, allowing seamless playback of recordings stretching across multiple MDs, such as live concerts, or DJ sets recorded from 90 minute cassettes or Raves.
Summary: I don't personally own this unit, I have a friend that has one, and I have had it on my list of favorite gear for some time. A great compact unit that fits easily in even small consoles or gloveboxes. It is one of very few multi-MD mobile changers and features the usual Sony quality. No disc magazine - simplifies disc switching and allows MD swapping durring playback with 6 seperate eject buttons.
