Strengths: Perfect unless you're a heavy-duty gamer (I'm only basing this on rumor -- that hard-and-fast games need a CRT monitor).
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: Get this rather than the 15". The color is much better and the small letters on the screen are like they should be (they're weird in the 15"). The 16" has a higher refresh rate and smaller dot-pitch (.24 vs .30 in the 15"). Plus it allows both analog and digital input, without changing any connections. The main reason I bought this, though, is that the neck is double-hinged so you can make the monitor sit almost right down on the desktop -- for people with bad necks this is a real break. (Or, if you have back problems, you can turn the monitor up & look down into it as you stand.) I also tried a ViewSonic 18" TFT -- the colors were so saturated and the screen so bright (even though I had it turned way down) I nearly went blind. The Sony SDM-M61 (16") is just right. Just the right amount of saturation. I love it. I want to marry it and have its baby. (I don't have my sound plugged into the built-in speakers, but reviews say they're very good.)
