Strengths: Highly compatible with the Sony CD-Mavica Digital Cameras - haven't burnt a single coaster yet!
Weaknesses: Looks like Memorex has abandoned the Ritek media in favor of the cheaper CMC media.
Summary: 2004-06-09 12:44:25 I have been using the Memorex Pocket/Mini CD-R discs for a while now in my Sony CD-Mavica Digital Camera, and have never come across a single problem till date. Sony cameras do display an irritating warning message saying "SONY DISK RECOMMENDED" for a couple of seconds every single time you power them on, but apart from that, using this media causes no issues at all.

Edit: This is my 2nd spindle, and I recently started noticing some problems with the discs in this spindle. When I compared them with the discs from the 1st one, it turned out that the older discs were all made by Ritek (well known as one of the best media manufacturers), and all of the new discs are made by the cheaper company CMC Magnetics, which almost everyone tries to avoid.

Strengths: small and convenient to use. The player was cheap.
Weaknesses: sometimes too small
Summary: They are convenient. The prices could be cheaper. The player and disc are small enough for me to carry anywhere. Dell had the cheapest price for the disc as well.

Strengths: High quality. Less expensive replacement for the Sony Maciva disks.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: This are the mini CD-R disk needed for the Sony Maciva digital cameras. Sony "recommends" their own brand. But after taking hundreds of pictures of over 50 Memorex disks, I can highly recommended the Memorex as a less expensive alternative to Sony.

Strengths: availability
Weaknesses: none known
Summary: My job is to do the purchasing and many of these type of items are here today and gone tomorrow - these have been available at a reasonable price and availability in stock has been very good for a couple years. I have not had any complaints from end users of bad disks or any problems.

Strengths: The size is what I wanted. Small and compact. Decent speed and capacity.
Weaknesses: Can be expensive, but if you can find a good deal-go for it.
Summary: I like the size, now I won't feel guilty for burning a 200MB file on a 750MB regular size disc-that's just a waste of space. I've used this media a few times and every single disc came out great. None failed. A lot better than the memorex cd-rw media(regular size with 24x max writing speed). If you need to buy mini cd-r like these, buy this one. Buying 50 pack can be cheaper and in the long run, you save money as well.

Strengths: Size - Cost
Weaknesses: None
Summary: Small, portable and convenient to use. Great for not using the standard size CDR discs when one doesn't have a lot of information to be put on the disc.
