Strengths: There is a hot indicator light on the cook top that stays on as long as the top is hot. This is even when the cooking elements have been turned off and no longer glowing. It’s easy to use and the doors & knobs flow easily when using
Weaknesses: I like this stove but if I had to pick something it would be the factory default settings.
Summary: I have been using this stove for 15 days and believe I am getting to know it capabilities. Let’s talk about the oven features since I feel it is a desirable reason to buy a stove that’s above the normal. It is a convection oven which by factory default will subtract 25 degrees from any temperature you set. Thankfully this feature can be turned off. The reason I say this is when I cook biscuits in convection they are not done in the required time. I have to add time. This also applies when I cook corn bread. When I trick the oven by putting 25 degrees above the temperature to make it adjust to cooking direction temperature it cooks just fine. One other word of cautions for people that read instructions like me it is best if you preheat the oven to the desired temperature first which is not recommended by the book for convection baking. I baked a fruit pie in convection mode by allowing extra time for oven to warn up to desired temp and use the correct temp on the cooking instructions and that made the pie come out perfect. Stove top cooking works fine I do like the fact that the front two can be set for large or small depending on the cooking pot used. The book say make sure the pot or pan you use cover the burner or the burner will. I used a wok skillet that covered the inner burner but not the outer burner surface and the auto off feature kept turning it off until I switched it to the inner burner only. That high tech technology will get you if you don’t read.
