Summary: I love this camera and the fact that you can finally transfer DV to a computer using USB 2.0 instead of Firewire. I simply plugged in the camera to my computer's USB 2.0 port, opened MS Movie Maker (latest version) and imported the video! Simple! Included battery life is short. But you can look in Amazon for JVC VUA228KIT Camcorder Starter Kit for GRD33US/72US/93US/200US/230US & GRDV500 which has 4 hour battery, MiniDV tape, and case and it only cost you USD30 (after huge discount). 100% of People (3/3) found this review helpful. I chose this model because it can transfer video clip and picture through a USB cable. This camcorder is fairly easy to use. The video quality is excellent. Using the included software,we can easily transfer the video and picture to my computer and edit them. This camcorder is a little bit heavy. The included battery is short in life.
