It won't recognize some of the Video formats but my other software handles these files without any problem. I ended up using this software for Audio CD creation for my Car CD Player. Strengths: * Slideshow feature * Inexpensive compared to other softwares in the market * Easy operation Weaknesses: * Freezes up computer sometimes Summary: Overall, I would say, my experience with this software is satisfactory. I was using Nero before but I have started using this now as I get it done what I want and for this price I consider it a good buy. I have two computers one old and the other new - when using this sotware the old computer freezes up sometimes but the new one works great. Good features, great buy. Its good for basic copying and organizing. Weaknesses: Freezes up computer sometimes, It doesn't work under Vista and checking with Roxio support, it never will be. Summary: Its good software for supplying so much functionality for such a low price. All integrated tools work ok. The software provides the DVD burning application along with an integrated roxio player to play back DVD, SVCD or VCD. I like the drag and drop function and the ease of copying cd's and mp3's. Accepts any CAPTURE Card. Finally the software has photosuite providing more robust photo editing experience. Overall good piece of software. 100% of People (1/1) found this review helpful. But copying dvd's is another story error after error messages. i decided to remove then install roxio but the problem continued i could not find any fixes at the site with no support without paying for it! If you need solid CD burning software without the bells and whistles, it's a goodie. savingeye Member Since: Jan 2008 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 30 Days	use your money on another software Strengths: none Weaknesses: does not recognize the DVD players Summary: If you are installing this software on a pc with windows Vista, consider doing a back up before the installation. My computer died! Crashed and I had to use the clone hard drive to start it. A HUGE set back. The Roxio website has several patches. Not that I dare to try again. Finally Roxio support want to edit the Registry of my computer before trying the installation. Strengths: Decent collection of CD and DVD tools Weaknesses: Doesn't offer anything you don't already have or can't get for free Summary: The only reason to buy this software is if you can get it for FREE after rebate. While it is a good collection of tools for CD and DVD authoring, you probably have most of the functionality already installed. Either it came with the PC or your new CD/DVD burner. This "retail" package is only a slight step up from the bundled software when you purchase a machine or drive. In fact, the initial welcome screen "invites" you to trade up to a more "robust" version (just like the bundled software would). Check the Roxio/Sonic website, and you won't even see this product listed for sale. You could easily replicate most (if not all) of the features with free software - you just won't have a single interface to the different features. For the prevailing retail price of the software alone (around $30), you could buy a new DVD burner with comparable bundled software.
