I like it because that's less buttons to break although the power switch is a button that I'm worried that will wear-out/break eventually like my Iriver ifp-799 which I loved. FM radio and voice recording a plus. Weaknesses: No FM recording. Headphones could be better. Summary: The Samsung YP-U3 is an excellant choice in it's price range. I improved the sound quality by using Sony MDR-E828LP headphones. My Samsung seems to constantly be running out of battery. After fully charging, if it sits around for a week, it's dead. Tip...you CAN go back to the main menu without the "5 steps move", if you press and hold the back button for a couple of seconds. Weaknesses: Ear buds are uncomfortable for extended use. Summary: If you have a small collection of MP3's and just want a simple to use MP3 player this would be a good choice. Like with most MP3 players you won't appreciate how good the sound is until you get a decent pair of headphones.
