Strengths: Very reasonable price, alot of versatile connections, very appealing look, card reader, very decent menu, superb high definition.
Weaknesses: Cheap remote, card reader won't read some cards, lack-luster standard definition, viewing angle and distance can be somewhat overly specific for optimal results.
Summary: Well I am truly a testimate to buying online sight unseen. My entire review and decision process was made right here online starting with Price Grabber. I read every review you could possibly imagine for every 30" to 37" LCD and Plasma available. I finally decided on the ViewSonic NextVision 32" after reading a cNet review of the 30" which has very comparable specs. The television was very easy to set up and through the menu I was able to set up the picture to a very high level of satisfaction. I am using a DishNetwork HD receiver with the DVI-D cable and I could not ask for more out of the HD reception. The HD is on par the best of them including the outrageously priced Plasmas. However, and this is a big however, the standard definition can not even come close to matching the definition I had on my enhanced digital Sony Wega flat tube TV. The standard definiton does greatly change dependant with the quality of the program but overall it's not that great. At the time of this writing Dish Network only has about a handful of HD channels and most repeat the programming quite often so watching HD all the time is not feasible. I would say all in all the standard definition is on par with a regular tube TV from a few years ago; not horrible but just so-so. DVD's through the component video plays like a dream! I primarily bought this TV for HD and DVD's and all I can say is WOW! Overall the television is worth every penny and I wouldn't exchange it even with the mediocre standard definition. As a couple of finishing points I ordered mine through Tiger Direct and they were quick to match the lowest price I found here on PriceGrabber although the salesman completely ordered me the wrong DVI cable and wrong wall mount. They are going to exchange them by the way. Overall this is a a great HD LCD that I would certainly recommend to anyone of my closest friends. Oh and also you may read that the TV is in 15:9 format, all of the TV functions show in 16:9 while computer function will natively show in 15:9. This is just simply due to the fact that the pixels for TV and computers are differently shaped.

Strengths: This one has a lotta features compared to other 32” within the price range. And also when I compared the pic quality w/ other brands/price that was in my price range, this one stands out reeaallly we
Weaknesses: Memory Card Reader is too slow during the read. Remote isn’t sensitive and the menu also has slow responses. Viewsonic does not seem to have a good specific driver for this LCD.
Summary: I bought this LCD @ Microcenter. I looked around other brand that was there such Syntax, Microcenter Brand, even Sony, Philips and Aquos.

This one is very comparable (In my opinion) to the quality of Aquos 32” but a much cheaper price.

This is one of the best priced LCD w/ a lot of features compared to other brand at the similar price at the time. And among all other w/ similar price, this is my choic.

Strengths: Very good price, very appealing look, card reader, very decent menu, superb high definition and a lot of connections.
Weaknesses: Cheap remote, but, acceptable.
Summary: I bought the N3200W to use as the monitor for my Media Center computer as well as to work as a traditional TV. Before I made the purchase, I researched the TVs in my price range and screen size for at least two months. When I first took a look at the N3200W, I found it online for about $2200 (including shipping), but I didn't buy it at that price because I didn't feel comfortable with the product yet. After having done all my research, I came back to the N3200W, the price dropped to around $1800 (including shipping).

After using four months, I will say it is the nice value on the market. Not only does it provide crystal clear images from my computer though its VGA input, but the HD signal coming through the DVI input is amazing. I connect DVD player through Component cable (there are two sets), connect satellite box through S-video cable and connect VCR through Composite cable. Additionally, there are memory card slots in front of the unit. Once you insert the memory card, the image will automatically pop up.

The speakers are nice in that they aren't the bulky detachable kind you put on the sides of the TV, but the sound quality could be a little better. I connect audio out to my Sony surround sound system. The sound especially from DVD movie, you will be appreciated the output connection. I also use Logitech LX1000 laser mouse to control the Media Center.

In summary, if you are looking for a great value, this is the Monitor/TV for you. I would gladly make this purchase again.
