 Breville ESP8XL Café Roma Stainless Espresso Maker Strengths: Good entry level machine for the price
Weaknesses: Leaks water, user needs to become espresso expert with this machine (don't press coffee to hard, grid it to the perfect size, clean all components after each use).
Summary: I was extremely happy with this machine for the first few months until it started leaking. It does not only leak a few drops but a weak stream in two of the screws next to the coffee holder. The froth is fantastic IF the milk is REALLY cold and you use 1% or 2% milk. The crema produced is acceptable as is the taste of the coffee. However, now that it leaks, I practically have to hold a towel next to the handle to prevent flooding. I bought it at a silent auction so I don't have a receipt. Therefore, I doubt I could make an exchange. Beware when buying this machine.
