Strengths: I just got a kenwood 504 htb. r91 works graet with the sound.
I will soon have a hd tv flat screenn to go with everthing will let you know how it goes.
Weaknesses: the price , single player tray
Summary: I am in the middle of putting together a ht. I have just gotten the kenwood 504 htb,jvc 9800, and the r9 The dvd player works great.very good video and the sound rocks over the 5.1/6 chl. The remote is nice but some may want a back light. The unit looks good over all,clean and sharp. The menu are OK some what easy to work with,but i have seen better. over all i would say this is a good player if you can take advantage of the pro/scan. if you can not really rape the rewards of pro/scan, you will do well with a lesser price model. For those with a hd flat screen digital TV this would be a very good buy.
