Weaknesses: Diamondtron tube is absolutely horrible. I didn't even have it for 1mnth & the display went bezerko. I then had it replaced. It worked 4yrs yet had contrast & brightness problems til it died '04
Summary: I would not recommend this monitor to nobody. I paid a very hefty penny back when it first made its debut. It was like $500. & that was a good deal believe it or not. It had a short life i think just about 5yrs 4.5 to be exact. Basically used it for browsing & games. So now it sits in my computer room collecting dust as it can't sustain an electrical current to keep it running. Tends on powerup to fizzle green light then back to yellow. I've tried different graphic cards & also a new svga cable, no difference. I've reverted back to older Sony 17" 200es trinitron monitor & has out lasted this one 2 lifetimes with no problems.
