Strengths: Great graphics, awesome action, plays like God of War.
Weaknesses: Controls are sometimes sluggish. Voice of Conan is weak. 720P.
Summary: Conan is very similar to God of War gameplay. You start out with a 1 handed sword. As you beat up the monsters you can pick up their shields, 1 handed, and 2 handed weapons. The game has a lot of gore, but can be turned off in the options menu (once off the only way to turn it on again is starting a new game). There is plenty of naked women through the game, so this is definitely not a title for kids.

The action is fast and furious. Another disappointment is that the game is 720P only.

Must buy for God of War and Heavenly Sword fans!

3 Star ReviewConan the Barbarian
Strengths: Good graphics. Fair control.
Weaknesses: Camera issue.
Summary: Conan, as in the Barbarian, has a game released by THQ on PS3 and XBox360. The game plays fairly similar to other action games such as Devil May Cry and God of War. The player takes control of Conan and explore the land and defeats enemies and whatnot. The game resembles God of War because of button actions, wall climbing, and other little things. The graphics in the game is fairly good. The surrounding environment is pretty well rendered but the character models could have been better, still, it is fair. The control is not too bad, not the most responsive, but passable.

Like other 3D action games, Conan suffers camera issues that would block the player's view of the character, items, and/or enemies.

Conan is very much like God of War, with characters and world substitution, but it is not as well develop as the God of War series. Overall, it is still a fun game for those that enjoy this type of game.

Strengths: Captures the Conan feel Combat is fantastically brutal Incredibly fitting orchestral soundtrack.
Weaknesses: Lots of chunky-looking textures Ron Perlman not a great fit as Conan Jumping sequences are clunky.
Summary: It is true that there is not much depth to the gameplay BUT this game is still very satisfying to play. sometimes you just need to play a mindless hack and slash game which is what this game is and is good at.

2 Star ReviewWeak-Average Button Masher
Strengths: Armor and move levelling
Weaknesses: Graphics, repetitive gameplay
Summary: This game compares most closely to Untold Legends. For those of you who like God of War, I'm really not sure it's a fair comparison. Conan is pretty weak in my view compared to both these named games. I still had fun playing it, as I love these mindless button mashers, but if you're in search of high quality gaming, I don't think this is it.
