Strengths: lots of pixels; elegant; easy controls
Weaknesses: cheap materials; distorted pictures for low light and closeups (which tripod can help somehow)
Summary: Kodak is very competitive in entry-level digital camera market. This one is not an exception.
It has enough pixels for enlarged photos - 8.2 mega pixels.
Secondly, it looks nice in pocket style design. It is also light-weighted, yet it has such a big LCD.
Third, its controls are well designed and laid out on such a small camera, with power, flag, scene selection, and shutter button on the top and review, menu, delete, and info/help on the back. Easy controls are especially important for entry-level users.
Materials feel cheap. When I tried to open the battery cover, I almost broke it. So handle with care!
Overall, considering the price, the quality, and the style, I think this is one of the top entry digital camera on the market.
