Strengths: Cool looks: All business flat face & blinged-out interior face. Adjustable EQ. 5.5V pre-outs (adj. to 4V) provide ample power for my amps. Dope remote control. Nice graphics on flat face (w/CDtext).
Weaknesses: Remote control is dope, but it is huge! The blinged-out interior face is a little-bit too much (for a business type). Non-adjustable DSO and no sep. front/rear volume controls (avail. with the M770).
Summary: Great price on a NICE head unit! I'm the third in my circle of friends to buy the M670: We all like them. In the past four years I've owned one Alpine, two Panasonics, and one JVC: None of them can stand-up to the M670. If you've got the extra money, I recommend the M770: More features. If not...buy the M670, you won't be sorry! P.S.: The 2002 model has a larger internal LCD (internal LCD is indiglo-like). This unit is invisible when vehicle is off -- if you forget (or are too lazy) to remove the face-plate you're still okay.
