Weaknesses: None so far Summary: Wow! I've used LG & Poineer burners before and I loved the LGs because they out lasted the Pioneers by a long shoot. Summary: This is a great DVD writer with an very low price tag. My Plextor drive had started causing lots of errors, so I replaced it with this LG drive. Since then, this drive made no errors using the same DVD discs. It is very quiet and writes very fast. Windows XP detects the drive after installation with no problem. wsn97 from IA Member Since: Jun 2005 View Member's: Reviews	Good DVD writer Strengths: works well, securedisc Weaknesses: noise Summary: My Liteon 16X DVD writer failed after 2 years, so I need to find a cheap dvd writer as replacement. LG GSA-H55NK fits my need perfectly. It has 20X DVD+R/DVD-R writing speed, and it can burn my Fuji 8X DVD+R disc with 12X speed. The burning quality is pretty good. Also the securedisk function is really a plus. Now I can add a password to my disc which contains important personal files and pictures. The only con is that the working noise of this writer is a little too big and sometimes the reading speed is slow.
