Strengths: Fast, error-free, competitively priced, lifetime warranty
Weaknesses: Incompatible with ordinary SD (as any SDHC card is)
Summary: I bought this card at a competitive price from a local warehouse outlet store. I wanted to buy locally so that I could return it easily if it didn't work properly, was slower than advertised, etc., without eating a shipping cost.
The card worked perfectly immediately, in the three devices I have that are SDHC-compatible: a Sanyo HD1 camera with upgraded firmware, a USB SDHC card reader, and an SDHC Cardbus adapter.
With the USB SDHC card reader, I clocked a speed of 9MB/sec writing, and 8.5MB/sec reading.
This card was _not_ compatible with the built-in card reader in my Acer Aspire notebook computer running Windows Vista, nor in the drive-bay card reader I installed into a Compaq desktop computer running Windows XP with the alleged latest SDHC hotfix. I can only conclude that SDHC support requires both a software fix and a hardware fix.

Strengths: Big Memory
Weaknesses: Don't know of any.
Summary: I buy memory based on price and the specs. So I find it hard to review them. Either they work, or they don't. But they always work for me.
.
The Adata 8GB Turbo Secure Digital High Capacity (SDHC) Card has lots of memory, that is why it has 8gb in the name. It is also a fast card, that why it has "Class 6" in the description.
.
The price per GB was very good when I compare it to the xD memory cards I get for my older camera. But the price per GB is comparable to most other 8GB SDHC cards. In fact, I was surprised how much cheaper SDMC cards are compared to xD cards.
.
So the bottom line, it is a good card, but I would buy a different brand if it had the same spec, a cheaper price, and did not have a bad reputation of low quality. So far, all the memory cards I got have never failed, no matter the brand or form factor.

Strengths: 8GB SDHC - Low Price
Pretty Fast - Class 6 (minimum 6MB/sec transfer speed)
Weaknesses: None Yet
Summary: I purchased this card to use in my Nikon D40X Digital SLR Camera. It formated quickly and works fine. The only odd deal is that the D40x indicates that with the card empty it can hold 1000 more pictures, when based on file size, it can hold at least 2000. As I take pictures, the number does not drop (much) so I'm not concerned. I checked it in my PC and it IS an 8GB Card. I ran a few tests on it in my Nikon D40X. A-Data 8GB SDHC Turbo Class 6 154 shots in continuous mode in 1 minute Translates to 2.57 shots/second Camera shoots into buffer/card at 3 shots/second until shot #20 when it begins to slow, but only slightly. I tested this 3 times and got the same result every time. SanDisk Extreme II 2 GB SD 134 shots in continuous mode in 1 minute Translates to 2.23 shots/second Camera shoots into buffer/card at 3 shots/second until shot #15 when it begins to slow, but only slightly. I tested this 3 times and got the same result every time. For $35 including shipping (after rebate) how can you go wrong?

Strengths: Large GB.
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: Purchased for my new Canon SX100 camera. Worked very good. Fast storage from camera when taking pictures. The locking device on the card is very helpful. Make sure your use is for a SDHC compatable product.

To be avoided
Strengths: cheap, maybe
Weaknesses: unreliable, extremely short life
Summary: Don't get attracted by the low price. It is worst card I have ever used. Used it only 3 time on my Pentax k10d. One the second time, got an I/O error. It appears to be OK after reboot, but the 3rd time, the card is dead after the error, together with hundreds of event photos that could never be taken again.
This is card is poorly built, you can tell that even from the exterior.
You can still try your luck with 8GB of your memory though.

Strengths: Fast transfer and writing rates.
Weaknesses: Limited compatibility
Summary: I bought this card at a very low price after mail-in-rebate. The writing and transfer rates are really high. So far I didn't have any major problems with this. Limited compatibility and need for a SDHC card reader are the only issues.

Strengths: Large capacity, fast speed!
Weaknesses: SDHC means my old SD reader is obsolete.
Summary: I purchased this card to use with my Nokia N800 since the price dropped very fast these days. SDHC gave these little cards hugh storage for all the pictures/music/videos/gps maps, and it'd be the future. Card itself has no problem, read and write fast. The only issue was I had to purchase an SDHC in order to read it, but it's not this card's fault.

died after 1 minute
Strengths: none -low price-you get what you pay for
Weaknesses: failed after 1 minute of use
Summary: I actually had to send this back after one minute of using it. I just died and woulds not work on several different readers & computers. I have read other people have had failures with this brand as well.

Strengths: Very fast.
Cheapest 8gb SD I could find.
Weaknesses: Doesn't work with all devices.
Summary: I recently got a HD camcorder that used SD cards, so I was looking for the largest card that could work with my camera. I got this card from Newegg and I couldn't be happier. Not only is it very fast, it works great with my Sanyo camera. If you can find a rebate for it, it is even a better deal.

Strengths: Fast, Fast, Fast...
Weaknesses: May not work with all card readers
Summary: I bought this card for my new Canon SD870 digital camera. It is fast and reliable. SD is the way to go these days when you compare to other forms of memory and the cost. With 8GB of memory I can take a lot of images and movies on my Canon.

Strengths: Fast, good price
Weaknesses: None
Summary: I use this SD in Canon TX1, which requires very fast SD for high definition video. This SD works just fine even with the highest resolution. A "disk check" from Windows revealed no problems.
Note that for built-in SD readers, you need to have a Windows hotfix in order Windows to recognize this card.

Strengths: capacity, compatibility, acceptable price
Weaknesses: none so far
Summary: If someone need a large capacity SDHC card, I will recommend him this one. It is cheaper, but almost has no difference in speed, compatibility with others. I have a Nokia N800 and a Sanyo HD700, it works fine in both of them. So the speed is pretty high considering HD700 is a HD camcorder.
