Strengths: Very sturdy. Sony quality and dependability. User friendly - Easy to operate and understand. Runs great off of battery power.

Summary: I have really enjoyed this tripod with my Sony Camcorder. It makes capturing video and still shots a breeze. It worked great for my son's Easter Egg Hunt, this past weekend. The only trouble I had was when I was tightening the handle for restricting the up and down movement. It placed the remote controls in an awkward position so it made it harder to operate. You must also remember to plug the remote into the camera before turning it on with the remote power button or it shuts off automatically (this can be very frustrating if you don't understand what is happening).

Strengths: It's good to carry.
Weaknesses: i can't use the remote control functions...
Summary: I have a sony digital camera, DSC-W1. but there is no the ACC jack on my camera. so I can't use the remote control functions. I think they didn't say anything about that. They just say SONY Tripod w/Remote Control Functions for Digital Camera. so I thought it works well with my camera. If you want to buy this sony tripod, you must check if your camera has the ACC jack or not.

Strengths: Lightweight/portable design/remote operation on grip.
Weaknesses: None
Summary: Ordered Tripod Wensday night and received it by Monday. Fantastic service, tripod was in original box and put in another box perfect condition. Would definitely used them again.
