Strengths: voice prompts, small GPS reciever, Bluetooth connectivity
Weaknesses: software needs some improvements
Summary: I got this to use with my Palm Zire 72. setup and installation was easy. you will need a good size SD card 256MB at least(this is what I have) to install maps on it. GPS unit connects flawlessly with PDA even though sometimes it takes more than few seconds to figure out your location. navigation with voice prompts is precise although it gets a little bit confusing when you are approaching a highway exit which has two divisions (north/south or East/west) because the unit will tell you to exit in let's say 500 feet but if the two exits are very close to each other and youare driving 50-60mph and not familiar with the area you will get confuse which one you should take! the back on track feature will get you back ontrack though. it has points of interests that you can use but it doesn't list everything you want. for example I went to Boston the other weekend and wanted to go to a Dunkin Donut. it only lists one that is 6 miles away even though there is one around the corner ! I have used it so far in Boston, Atlanta and Connecticut and I found it helpful other that the couple of points I mentioned. For how much I paid for it, I think it is very nice and I am satisfied with it.

Strengths: battery life, lightweight, easy to use
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: These are perfect additions to PDA's. The software is very user friendly once you get everything installed and up ad running. It is a simple solution to navigation because it is wireless and portable. I use it all the time in my car, RV and on foot. Plus, I don't even have to have it in hand because it is wireless. After having portable navigation, I don't think I would ever bother to have GPS installed in a vehicle. This is much less expensive, just as effective and I only need one. I think we will see items like this become very popular with road warriors and RV'ers. Most of us pull a long a car, motor cycles or scooters so why would you have a $2000 product installed into your RV?

Strengths: GPS receiver works great
Weaknesses: Software included stinks
Summary: The GPS unit itself is wonderful. I have had no problems with the unit. Much better than my former Belkin unit. But, the software that comes with it is the worst quirkiest software that I have ever used. It took two full months of interaction by email with support to get it to even run on my Palm T3. When I finally got it running, it totally freaked out when I was traveling on the highway. The map just kept spinning in circles. Fortunately, I already owned Mapopolis and have switched back to this program with the GPS unit. It has functioned flawlessly. I also found the customer support to be very poor.

Strengths: easy to use, easy to connect with my palm T3, good price, have the USA map and the holder is cool
Weaknesses: need three AAA battery in the receiver, don't know if it will eat a lot energy
Summary: This is the first GPS I have bought by myself, actually it is better than I have used like the one I borrowed from my friend. This would be a very useful tool for my summer vacation when I have a trip to Yellowstone with my GF. I have not tried if it can work with my notebook, it would be better if you wiew the 3D road director in the bigger screen when are driving.
