Strengths: Powerful 500W, modular cables, titanium housing, UV orange fan and side window nice for modders.
Weaknesses: 20-pin ATX connector (not 24 for newer boards), the molex connectors are thick.
Summary: This is a stylish PSU with nice UV orange fans and orange UV reactive cables. It is fairly quiet and looks great. Using only the cables you need is nice for less cluttered cases. The PSU does not have a 4-pin add-on connector to the 20-pin ATX connector for newer motherboards which require 24-pin. Ultra has a 20- to 24-pin adapter available but it just draws power from 4 existing pins (out of the 20-pin) rather than straight from the PSU. Also my case has hard drives at a horizontal 90 degree angle so the cables run into the side of the case having to bend since the molex connector is so thick. Ultra does not currently offer a right-angle type molex connector. Overall it is a good PSU and I would recommend it for users with 20-pin boards not looking to upgrade.

Strengths: NA
Weaknesses: NA
Summary: This is an amazing power supply that has a unique design with colorful transparent windows, multiple fans and a revolutionary cable design that allows you to connect only the cables you need to, thus cutting down on cable clutter. The cables are sealed in unique UV-ready tubes to provide an elegant and clean look to the inside of the computer. excellent for fancy cases.

Strengths: Attractive, modular, wattage
Weaknesses: price
Summary: I love this power supply...it is highly attractive. The orange color combined with the 4 led's on the case fan's look excellent. Apart from this it performs very well too. And, finally the main thing which made me buy this power supply was the modularity feature which is an excellent addition to power supplies. The only real bad thing is the price and the fat motherboard cable which is bit too firm and makes it hard to flex.

2 Star ReviewI couldn't even get the cables to fit in my Antec ...
Strengths: Looks really cool.
Weaknesses: The cables are too thick and the plastic connectors are huge! They also don't fit tightly, and easily slip out. Not good.
Summary: I couldn't even get the cables to fit in my Antec Super Lanboy (which is one of the most popular enclosures on the market). The power cables don't fit tightly and wouldn't even stay in my sony dvd burner, it would just fall out! If you have a smaller enclosure, stay away from this power supply.

Strengths: 500 watt, modular cables, make the inside of the look clean and quiet!!
Weaknesses: Some of the cables are little thick and ATX Mobo power cable is 20-pin not a 24-pin
Summary: 2006-07-24 22:49:02 Great power power supply provide a lot power to my gaming system: AMD FX-57 overclock to 3.00 GHz,Corsair XMS 4GB(1GBx4), 2x XFX 6800XT 256mb DDR3(in SLI mode),Creative Sound Blaster Audigy2 ZS, Kworld HDTV tuner, and 2x 500GB HDD Seagate and 2x LG x16 DVD Burner. The only problem I had with the power supply was the ATX mobo cable, which was a 20-pin not a 24-pin, but Ultra offer an 20-pin to 24-pin cable that cost about $10 and the also the mobo cable was little thick ,but overall the power unit offer better airflow in my system to cool down the part inside and look much cleaner then my old power supply.

Strengths: 500W, UV orange, clear sides, dual fans, metalic paint finish, modular cables,
Weaknesses: 20-pin (not newer 24-pin) connector, expensive, molex connectors too thick, cables not very flexible
Summary: 500W is sufficient power for most situations; PSU and UV orange cables look cool when you have a clear side case; though Ultra includes a 20-pin to 24-pin adapter, the extra 4 pins draw power from other rails, not a good idea; the molex modular connectors are too thick and the connection to PC components is usually not tight enough.
