Strengths: 5.8G, sound quality, 2-line operation
Weaknesses: none. though the base unit has some weakness
Summary: This is the great handset to be used with KX-TG6502B or KX-TG6500B system. It basically can operate all the system function from the handset. You can listen to the voice message directly from the handset. You will be notified by the antenna if there is a new voice message. Though I do point out some weakness of the KX-TG6502B system (see my review of KX-TG6502B), the handset itself is perfect. I would highly recommend it.

Strengths: Very satisfied with the range and clarity. Very easy to register the new handset with the base.
Weaknesses: It would be nice if the phone came in white. Also, it would be great if all the handsets for the 5.8 GHz phone worked together and were able to share the phonebook.
Summary: Very satisfied with the Panasonic 5.8 GHz, 2 line phone. Can't understand why it took so long to introduce this phone to the market. I wanted to stay away from the 2.4 GHz phones since I didn't want to take the chance of interference with my wireless network. Thank you Panasonic.

Strengths: Great sound quality. Lots of features. Excellent speaker phone.
Weaknesses: I had hoped the range would have been a bit longer.
Summary: I had been considering a speaker phone setup for my new house. I needed two lines. I also needed a system that would not interfere with my wireless network. I am quite pleased with my Panasonic. The unit has functioned as described. Used settings are easily altered. Settings include ring volume and tone, phone book, and date and time. I really enjoy the lighted antenna that notifies you of a call even if the ringer is turned off.

Strengths: Panasonic has the best quality reception and distances I have used in a cordless phone system.
Weaknesses: This system only expands to 4 handsets. Would like to have the CallerIQ feature on it too (where the name is read out loud).
Summary: 2006-12-07 07:52:34 After using other make and models of cordless phones (ex. motorola & vtech) and reading specifications of other phones in this category (GE, ATT, Uniden), I determined this panasonic model was best for my needs. Panasonic has the best reception in distances in my opinion. It may even be rated this way in the market. The is at a low for this model and would recommend for anyone who does not want to pay a premium for their newer phone system.

Strengths: Lots of features, Handset speakerphone, Good sound, Good range.
Weaknesses: Mic sensitivity could be better
Summary: We bought the base and loved it. So we got the extension.I was reluctant to buy a Panasonic because of the battery problems. I gave it a try and I do not regret it. Until now no problems with the battery so they must have fixed it. Otherwise the phone is great, very good sound, lost of features, good range, and I love the handset speakerphone.

Strengths: Ease of Integration with the base system... voice clarity
Weaknesses: I have found nothing I am displeased with to date.
Summary: I have owned other phone systems manufactured by Panasonic, and would have to rank this system to be at the very top. Other "add-on" phones within the Panasonic system require registration and deregistration, done via infra-red and a pin... what a pain. Not this system... just one click, and you are on your way! This has to be one of Panasonic's best!

Strengths: Clear reception, ergonomics, speakerphone long battery life.
Weaknesses: Still have to clear "missed calls" from each handset, cost.
Summary: 2005-07-17 13:44:15 I purchased the base unit almost two months ago and decided an extra handset would be nice. The Panasonic 5.8 GHz phones in general are great and I can now say the same for their 2 line version. Excellant phone that hopefully will last for a good while.

Strengths: Good voice quality, easy to use and install.
Weaknesses: Poor menu system.
Summary: We had to replace the Siemens 2.4GHz system that we had because of interference. This was the closest thing we could find that was not too expensive. All in all a good system but the Siemens is better, but also double the price.

Strengths: Excellent reception and features for a two-line phone/answering system. Wireless Network friendly, intuitive interface, excellent battery line, comfortable and light weight handsets.
Weaknesses: A bit pricey, but you get your money's worth.
Summary: This is the best two-line phone/answering system out there. Some of the nicest features are the ability to choose different ring tones for different lines, and turn off (or just turn way down) the ringer on any handset for either line - in other words, you can turn off your second line's ringer on your handset, and turn off your first line's ringer on other handsets. Also, you don't need phone lines at the locations you place additional handsets, only at the base. So, you can have four two-line phones in your home or office with only one set of phone jacks. Nice! And, of course, you can record separate messages for each of your two lines. There is not much that could be any better about this system - highly recommended!
