Strengths: Price!, Service, QAM Tuner
Weaknesses: Remote is slow, source switching is inconvenient, sound is of fair quality
Summary: The Olevia 232T provides great value for money. At around 400 dollars for a 32 inch LCD TV, the picture quality is comparable to name brands. The QAM tuner allows it to pick up digital cable channels without the need for a set top box. If you read the product registration and warranty information, they offer very good after sales service. Other reviews have also stated this benefit. As for the sound, it would be better to use a receiver. Despite its weaknesses regarding the remote control, sound, and sources setting, this TV is definitely worth the price.

Strengths: More than great for the price
Weaknesses: Remote is very basic
Summary: I mainly use the for the Wii, HD Gaming, and Blu-Ray. All of them perform excellent on this TV. I've haven't had any problems with this TV yet. Over the air HD also looks nice and clean. This set only comes with one HDMI slot so you'll have to buy an accessory if you want more. The remote they include isn't spectacular or anything, but it gets the job done. All my friends have commented on how nice my TV is and I've been more than happy with my decision on purchasing this TV.

Strengths: Very good picture quality for the price range
Weaknesses: the set is slightly larger depth-wise than most other lcd tv's, not being able to select which input you want to put on
Summary: This set has very good picture quality compared to most other sets in its price range, even sets with double the price. Supposedly, they use lcd panels made by LG. Also, it has an adequate amount of inputs. The only problem for me with this tv is that you have to go through each input source before getting to the one you want, which gets annoying over time. Despite the depth of this tv, its easily wall-mountable. Overall, I am highly satisfied with the 232T and would recommend it to anyone who wants a high quality tv for pretty cheap.

Strengths: Good contrast ratio, great picture, built-in tuners(digital&analog), plenty of inputs(1xHDMI, 1xComponent is all I needed), LOW PRICE compared to other brands.
Weaknesses: Settings menus are confusing, remote is bigger than it needs to be, speakers had a slight buzz that was annoying until I turned off the speaker and switched to an outside sound source.
Summary: All in all this is a great TV for the price. I am very happy with it- 100% satisfied with my purchase. Other than the faintly buzzing speaker problem that I resolved by using external speakers, the only issue I have with the TV is that it is tedious to switch between inputs -you must cycle through all the choices until you reach what you're looking for- it isn't a big deal for me because I seldom need to change inputs.

Strengths: Great price, good picture, built in tuner, and size
Weaknesses: Sound is OK
Summary: I purchased this LCD at my local Office Depot for 489. When I saw that price, I went looking for reviews and WOW pretty good reviews. So I finally found a Office Depot that had one left. So when I hooked up the LCD at home, I was blown away by the picture. I almost got a 26in until I saw this 32in. I think this LCD is a great product for the money. It compares with more expensive LCDs. Get one, I believe they will not be selling for long.

Strengths: price , bright color screen, good picture quality
Weaknesses: depth is bigger, remote control is not user friendly , slow
Summary: I was in the market for an LCD TV for weeks and after comparing most of the popular brands of LCD TV I decided to buy the Olevia because primarily of the price. Surprisingly I was impressed by the quality of this tv ,for what I paid for (less than $600) it is a solid value, almost as good as the other major brands twice its price. I highly recommend this product.

Strengths: Price/Quality ratio, Great budget LCD HDTV, size, QAM tuner
Weaknesses: only 1 HDMI, slight buzzing sound
Summary: Olevia 232T is a TV for price conscious consumers. I've had it for almost 2 months. While it does not deliver the same quality as leading brand TVs and has fewer ports, it's will be a significant upgrade from your old TV and will differ only slightly from those expensive LCD TVs. Of course it's 720p but you won't notice a difference between 232T and 1080p TVs unless you are sitting a few feet from the screen.
I tested it with amplified indoor antenna and am very satisfied with picture quality. I also like the fact that this model has the speakers under the screen. I don't seem to experience lag problems when changing channels some other reviewers have mentioned. The stationary buzz is a non-issue unless you mute the TV and sit very close to it. But it's preferable to go with external speakers.
All in all, if you need a cheap LCD TV with great great quality, Olevia is a very good choice.
