Strengths: Great keyboard, Extended Warranty is very good.
Weaknesses: The charging cable, and overheating
Summary: I have always loved Toshiba and this laptop has let me down a little. It is a great machine in all the normal facets but the biggest problem with this is the AC Adapter connection. If someone trips over the cord, or it is removed abruptly in any way, it will damage the inside and disables all power. I have a friend with exact same computer, and this is also a problem for him. I have sent my machine in twice in 2 years for this problem. (which takes time without the computer and expensive shipping costs. ) The second problem is the overheating. It does that quite often and is really hard to avoid...

I would recommend a different model Toshiba to any avid laptop user.

1 Star ReviewBad tech support people in turkey wont do anything ...
Strengths: Monitor
Weaknesses: Overheating is the main problem, shuts off without warning, cleaning fans or replacing them will not solve the problem, also experienced a "static issue"
Summary: 2006-01-16 13:47:28 Bad tech support people in turkey wont do anything for you. I will not buy anything from toshiba again.

When you pay $1300 it should work. You can not be sertain when it shuts off. Do not buy this model.

Shame on toshiba.
