Strengths: Clean looking, crisp mid-range, decent high-range Weaknesses: Missing the low-mids, and any low-range Summary: I am in professional home theater design, and were testing these for clients. In the past I have been very happy with JBL's products for the price that you can get them. The HTI-6C is decent, but I would not purchase them again. Excellent sound (for ceiling speakers). Visually fades, doesn't attract the eye, just the ear. Weaknesses: Not as good of sound as tower, but that's not expected in ceiling speakers. Summary: We are genuinely pleased with this pair of 6" ceiling speakers. We installed them in the kitchen and they add a lovely sound. Since it's a kitchen where you're moving around a lot, we installed you stand between the speakers in the most common work area of the kitchen. They were very easy to install; we used the templates and they are exactly the right size.
