    2 Weeks
Strengths: Excellent picture, big screen (with swivel capability), lots of control opitons (see comments), decent battery life
Weaknesses: Speakers, no volume control on remote (but nothing to quibble over)
Summary: I'm pretty impressed with this little thing. The picture quality on this player is excellent. The speakers sound "tiny" and have absolutely no bass, but they are probably better than most other players I've seen/heard. If your in a car, headphones are a must, or get a device to play the audio through your car stereo ($15-$25). The player has the option to either input or output the A/V so you could play video games on the run or you could hook up a VCR and watch VHS...be creative! You can also change the viewing angle to 16:9 or 4:3. The player also has a "zoom" function so that you can zoom in on widescreen videos and get rid of the "black bars" at the top and bottom of the screen (very nice). The battery should easily last you through two full movies (3-4 hours). The player comes with A/V cables, a car charger adapter, and a carry case for the car. A "real" carrying case needs to be bought separately. The car case is strictly for the car (to mount to the back of your headrest, or your sun visor). Comes with a remote, but remote has no volume controls : ( oh well.

The only problem I've had with this player is on some videos I've watched it paused the video for a moment or it would skip to the next chapter. These were rented videos so it is possible that the disc's weren't in that great of shape. I've watched a total of 6 videos on it with this "skipping/pausing" phenomenon happening on 2 of the videos. I've only had the player for a couple weeks, so I'll keep testing!

Overall, I'd say this is an excellent player for the price range it is in. I bought mine at Circuit City when it was on sale for $279! Circuit City will match any local competitor, so shop around!

3 Star ReviewGreat features BUT poor video quality
Strengths: Command buttons, slick design
Weaknesses: cheap materials & poor video quality
Summary: I purchased this unit from Walmart and as soon as I turned it on when I got home, I shown disappointment; command buttons can be easily reached, you can adjust setting much easier than other DVD players but when it comes to the video quality, it is another story. I adjust the sharpness to its highest and pictures still shown blurry. I compared it to the Cyberhome DVD player I purchased a week earlier, there is no comparison in video quality. Though it has great features and looks nice but without any outstanding video quality, it makes no sense to keep it. I returned to Walmart and kept the Cyberhome; what is true is big name does not quarantee built quality nor performance.

2 Star ReviewPicture is fuzzy and washed out in certan conditio ...
Strengths: Good Features
Weaknesses: Poor Picture and Sound
Summary: Picture is fuzzy and washed out in certan conditions. When viewing bright scenes, images become fuzzy and washed out. The boot screen even has the fuzzy halo. Sound is poor, but I expect that. Adjusting the settings does no good. Good features and connection options.

Strengths: Large screen, swiveling screen, remote, car mounting bag included.
Weaknesses: Takes a while to load, swivel screen can sometimes be hard to turn.
Summary: I bought this for my 3 year old for long car rides. Works exactly as advertised. DVDs occasionally take a while to load or can get hung up, but turning the power off and back on always solves the problem.
