Strengths: Trims hair nicely,
Water washable, Mirror cap is nice
Weaknesses: Takes time to trim,
Vacuum is not strong
Summary: The trimmer has the basic Panasonic design - it does not cut the hair from the root which is not hygienic and damages the nose inside. I suffer from lots of nose problem (mainly allergy which causes the nose to inflame) and my ENT specialist told me to avoid such trimmers which cuts to the root.
The vacuum is just a hype. It can suck in very small pieces of hair like the size of dust. I tested with different size items and found it can only pick up hairs of size 1 mm. Any bigger it will just give up. This trimmer is a replacement of an earlier ER410K, and it could also suck in hairs, even bigger ones, but its blade broke after 5 years of use.
Overall, it is a OK trimmer - same as earlier cheaper models. And probably because of its vacuum action, more power is wasted and takes longer to trim.
