1 Star ReviewNever buy it again!
Strengths: sleek design, fast speed, huge storage
Weaknesses: blue screen, terrible hard disk
Summary:

I have used this Dell Inspiron 530 for 5 months.

At first, I am satisfied with it. I used 5 models of dell desktop in about 10 years, and everyone worked very well, so I still chose the serials of dell desktop.

The PC have done a great job till one day. A blue screen suddenly appeared, and I could not get rid of it. I tried many ways to solve this problem: I tried the safe mode; I tried to reinstall the windows vista; I tried to install window XP…… I found the problem is not only the blue screen, because when I change the other hard disk as a master disk, the blue screen was still there. THE WOREST THING IS THE ORIGINAL HARD DISK COULD NOT BE RECOGNIZED EVEN AS A SLIVE HARD DISK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At last , the technician of dell came , but nothing could happen. It took me about 1 week, and when I searched the answer online I am surprised that I am not the only one who met this problem. OMG, I decided to return it. But all the data in my hard disk had lost.

Strengths: Price - Quietness - Dependability
Weaknesses: Power Supply
Summary: I've owned this Dell for a few months now and I'm quite pleased with its performance and quality. It's easy to expand memory, hard drive, and add a graphics card. The 250W power supply will limit you on how powerful a graphics card you can add, but the PSU can be easily upgraded to whatever you need, since it's a standard size unit. There are BIOS upgrades available that let you run a RAID0 hard drive array as well.
