Strengths: Sharp and bright picture, decent sound from internal speakers, UNBEATABLE price for a brand name LDC HDTV of this size.
Weaknesses: Lackluster remote, visible artifacts in non-HD programming if you view upclose (1ft).

When watching HD material the picture is simply stunning and sharp as a tack. The colors are fairly accurate even out of the box. If you do a little tweaking you can get them perfect. This set seems to be less brighter than the Samsung next to it in the store, but once set up it's plenty bright and constrasty even in the most open, well windowed room. Surprisingly the speakers, which generally sounds like tin cans in most TVs, are pretty decent. They are clear and have good spacial representation.
As to be expected, performance of non-HD programs is mediocre. If you are upclose to the set you can see all the artifacts. Further away (say 6 ft) its not as noticable. This really doesn't bother me much since it's not going to be too much longer when everything will be broadcast digitally. (The Analog TV will be cut off in Feb '09).
This TV has a pretty nice selection of video inputs, including 2 HDMI ports, 2 component, 2 composite, 1 S-Video. There is one "*" though, one of the A/V inputs has both component and composite video on it so you have to choose which you want to use, so effectively if you use both composite inputs you can't use component and vise versa. One set of the composite imputs is on the side of the TV for easy hookup of a camcorder. The side port also features a USB port to hook up your digital camera for a slide show.
