Strengths: Very entertaining and will occupy the child for a long time
Weaknesses: takes a lot of room
Summary: This set is a perfect toy for any ages. I am well over 30 but i still enjoy it very much. The included remote control is for the trains and the lights, bells and whistles as well. The system is very easy to use and educational. The track pieces and the train are sturdy and well built. It does take a lot of room once you keep adding the pieces but i do not mind at all.

Strengths: Easy to put together and get engine back on track
Weaknesses: Strength of wheels
Summary: Great toy. Not sure if we got a bad engine but the wheels on our engine have chips in them. It still works but we'll see for how long. To be fair, our son is rough with this toy and throws it in the box when done. Otherwise this is a great toy. He especially likes being able to go backwards with the train in the case where it gets stuck.

Strengths: Easy to setup, fun to play with, kids enjoy it
Weaknesses: None so far
Summary: This is a fun toy for your child's first train set. I bought this for my son, and it is solidly built and works well. A kid can easily get hours of entertainment from this toy, and even an adult who is a kid at heart will have fun playing along. Also there are various upgrade sets that you can buy to go along with this set. While I have not purchased any of these yet, it looks like they would make this set even more fun (and much larger, so be sure that you have plenty of space).

In summary you will not be disappointed with this train set.
