Summary: Have had no problems with the unit. The HD has been great. Use the audio output to drive a small Fisher home theather unit. flyingtigerace from VA Member Since: Mar 2005 View Member's: Reviews Product Experience: 5 Days	good value LCD TV Strengths: good picture quality, especially for the price; nice appearance unlike those TVs with glossy/shiny bling bling cheap plastic rim; QAM tuner is sensitive. Weaknesses: The contrast is lower than a typical Samsung which sets the standard for LCD, in my opinion; HDMI doesn't seem to accept PC input without noticeable degradation. Summary: I told myself not to expect too much from a Westinghouse, but I was pleasantly surprised when I saw it next to a Samsung and a Sony at BestBuy. The Westinghouse had a slightly darker image, but it was also 30% cheaper. There is a slight buzz from the speakers due to poor noise reduction circuitry, but it is not audible unless you put your ear near them. Summary: Just purchased this LCD TV few days ago and so far it is OK. For the price and in comparison with other TVs in the market. Price is great too!! Weaknesses: Audio not the best, but run thru my Bose it sounds great!! Summary: 2007-12-22 18:39:15 Westinghouse might not have the name recognition for TV or HDTV..but I am so pleased with my purchase. My first HDTV. Weaknesses: Picture blinks off and on when trying to use HD formats. 1080i format makes TV picture fail all together. Can not find sources when switching from one to the other and shuts it self off. Summary: I am about to return this TV as the over all performance of this television is not living up to what it was supposed to be. It says that it supports all HD formats but if you attempt to watch a Blueray disc in 1080i format, the TV blinks off all together. Now i have called Westinghouse about this issue and they have told me that i have to pay to return it and for all shipping costs. I have had this television for less than 3 months and already its costing me more than $400 extra just to repair it. Take my advice and spend hte extra and get a better brand. My monitor showed latent signs of vertical banding (generally, a manufacturing defect) and they refuse to acknowledge the problem. Summary: It'll work great until it breaks. Get an extended warranty. If it sounds like a great deal, then chances are it is too good to be true. Summary: This TV DIED after only a little over a year. Westinghouse would DO NOTHING!!!! because it was over a year. Other TVs that I have owned lasted decades.
