Strengths: loud sound, good bass, clearity
Weaknesses: None
Summary: "WOW" will be the word I would like to use to describe this little think. I am so surprised by the bass it creates. It is hard to describe how impressed I am. Maybe i can put it this way: I have a panasonic hometheater (total output is 450w), it does not perform better than this JBL speaker! Some cheap speaker will "buzz" when you turn the volumn high, but for this one, for most of the songs, you can turn the volumn all the way up and no "buzz".

Other strengths are: you can sync your music directly from this speaker, charge your ipod, and REMOTE CONTROL IS REALLY CONVENIENT!

I don't find any weaknesses for far.

Strengths: Sound quality. Aesthetics. Build quality. Flexibility in handling iPod & non-iPod MP3 players.
Weaknesses: None.
Summary: This is a great speaker for an iPod or other non-iPod MP3 player. It has great sound. While it won't beat separate components, I am using it in my dining room to provide music. I did buy an iPod Nano just to use with this player, but you can also hook up any non-iPod player (you just won't be able to use the remote to control the music). Heartily recommended.

Strengths: Looks and sounds great.
Weaknesses: On/off button in the back, awkward to reach it
Summary: The sound of the radial is great, and it's easily moved from one room to another. It is by far the nicest looking ipod dock that i've seen. Goes well with my modern furniture.

Strengths: Great sound, compact, portable so can move from room to room or out to the patio, easy to operate.
Weaknesses: I can't think of any.
Summary: The JBL Loudspeaker Dock was recommended to me by a friend who had just purchased one and was very satisfied. He had done tons of research before the purchase. After listening to his, I decided to also purchase one and also am more than satisfied.

Strengths: superb sound quality! Easy to use! Charge and sync ipod!
Weaknesses: None portable
Summary: I have been using this for about 2 months. I love it. I have Altec Lancing M604 for my Zune. Comparing this to the M604, I have to point out the strong bass this JBL radial produces, I don't think the Altec Lancing is comparable to this JBL. It is a "LOUD" speaker, my living room is full of music even with the medium volumn level, I don't have any chance to use the max volumn otherwise my wife will throw it out of the window. The remote is really convenient. But usually, I use it to control volumn and next song because you won't be able to tell what you are controling if you are away from the dock. I have no complaint on this. Overall, I am very satisfied with this speaker system.

Strengths: Sounds Great; cool remote, with good range; looks cool
Weaknesses: HUGE! ; Not portable; Expensive
Summary: We used to have the JBL OnStage II sepakers, but found them tinny and pretty quiet. Hard to drive them across the room. I wanted something to power the entire living room, without needing an external amplified. This footed the bill to a tee. They sound great, and the remote works fantastic. I can operate the iPod from across the room. However, since the iPod display is so small, you can't read it from a distance, so the only thing I use the remote is for volume and skipping tracks. The thing is huge! ANd I'm not kidding! The box them come in is a monster. Included is a bunch of adapters, so your iPod can fit into it nicely. The sound easily fills my room, and there is more bass than the smaller JBLs.

Note that since it is quite large, they aren't particularly portable. The power-supply brick is external, keeping the weight down. Batteries would have been a nice option, but that probably would have made them bigger & heavier.
