Strengths: Has self cleaning base, provides a close shave, quick and long lasting charge.
Weaknesses: A little pricey.
Summary: I bought this for my boyfriend for Christmas to replace an old norelco he has had for years which was working but I wanted to get him something newer and more updated. He loves this new one! It really provides a closer and smoother shave. The battery life is awesome. You charge it once for about an hour and its good for weeks. The self cleaning base is wonderful to keep the unit clean. I love that you can rinse the heads where on a lot of other dry shavers you can't. It's quite expensive but it is well worth the money spent!

Strengths: Good shave, sleek design, clean everytime.
Weaknesses: Can't stop charging after the razor cleans itself. Buying the solution every month but you already know it when you buy the razor.
Summary: This razor is the only one in the Norelco line that has a self cleaning function. It shaves as well as the others in the Norelco line. It's sleek and looks good. The good thing about the self cleaning is that you get a clean razor everytime. The solution costs $5 a bottle and a bottle lasts 1 month so there is on going costs. The big draw back to this razor is the manual says that to keep the battery life long, you should only recharge it when the battery is totally drained. Okay, that sounds good. This is normal for all battery powered things. But the flaw is that once you place the razor in the cleaning machine, it cleans it for a couple of minutes, then it does into drying mode, to dry it for 2 hours. After that it starts to recharge the razor. If you want maximum battery life, why does it automatically recharge. There should be a button or switch that tells the cleaning base not to recharge the razor after cleaning is done. The manual says to just unplug it afterwards to prevent recharging. Thanks a lot Norelco. So I shave in the morning, come back home after 2 hours when the cleaning mode is done and unplug the razor to prevent it from charging. Good design from the geniuses of Norelco. They probably know the flaw in the design but want our batteries to go bad quickly so that you would have to buy a new razor. More money for them. They suck.
